Default Newbie from New Zealand

Hi Guys
Wanting to buy a '69 RS or SS with usual options, AC etc. Have at present a C3 Vette which we enjoy using, so we have decided to rationalise our vehicle fleet to classic cars.

NZ drives on the LH side of the road, most of the cars are RHD but nearly all of the early Camaros are exempted and stay LHD. My Vette is LHD and I find it no hassle to drive it here.
Most of the GM cars are Australian Holdens, the 2004 GTO is a rebadged Holden.

isn't there a RWD holden that is similar to our FWD impala?

I heard that GM will be switching to RWD and it will be based of some Holden car

A new model Holden called VE will be introduced soon as a Pontiac G8 and as a Chevrolet SS (not sure if that is for the US market, it is LHD), various upmarket models will be marketted as Buicks etc.
The VE is already out in AUS and NZ and is a knockout. The Zeta platform will also be used for the new 2009 Camaro.

I am selling it's forerunner ATM because the new one has blown the value of this model away.

This is why I want to get a '69 Camaro instead.
