I live in new troy which is in sw michigan, close to indiana, about 5 min from lake michigan, not to far from portage, somewhere between 1hr and 1.5hr drive..

So what year/model are you restoring?

 

It's a 68 Z28.. It's getting a 496 installed into it though..
