Newbie in love with my Z28!
Hi all.
Well I just purchased my first Camaro last night. She's a 1993 red Z28. Pics to come soon (I havnt had time yet). Well I have owned 3 Corvettes and recently owned a 74 Stingray. I decided to change for a modern fuel injection sports car. I was looking at late C4's but fell in love with this Z28. This car is in brand new condition! Was owned by a neat freak and you would swear it just came off the production line! Witch by the way, the GM factory where they made these machines is a 10 minute drive from my place! But after owning 3 Corvettes, I must say Im impressed! I never thought much about Camaros but once you drive one of these its a whole different story! The LT1 is defenetly powerful and this car is a blast to drive! I now find myself looking for any excuse to drive her! Absolutely in love with my Z! Am I becoming a Camaro guy?
Cheers
Chris

Welcome! I'm a newbie as well. I bought my '78 LT Camaro on June 2nd. I'd never been behind the wheel of one prior to this. Last time I rode in one was in 1980 when I dated a guy in high school who owned a sparkling almost new '78 (which made him very popular with everyone!) Yes, I would say you are probably a "Camaro guy" now. All it takes is one trip around the block behind the wheel and you're hooked.
So you've had several vettes. I own a '78 Silver Anniversary Edition. I got it last September. It a fantastic car.

Yeah Ive had 3 Vettes. My first was a 79 (pretty much the same as the 78 anniversary). My second was an 84 that I switched from crossfire injection to a carb and my latest was a 74 Stingray. I just got fed up of carbs and wanted a fun sporty summer daily driver. The Z28 is perfect for that.
