Default newbie here

just popping in to say hi. im not a current owner but im getting ready to sell my 88 jeep wrangler and then im going to by a 4th gen. im leaning towards the v-6 just because i could use the better mpg, the v-6 will probably be enough power, they are extremely abundant around me, and i just want a camaro so im not too picky. mostly im going to get the first one i can afford that is in good condition. although i have to admit i would love to get a 98-02 z28 or ss with a t-top. im looking forward to owning a camaro as i have loved them since i was a wee lil lad and hopefully i will have it soon. chances are im going to ask a lot of questions so thanks in advance

Welcome to the Fourm, Joe.

Hey, don't discount the mileage of a small8. I have a 91 RS 305 and it hovers around 20 mpg (if I drive it carefully ).

I have liked Camaros for a long time, and was glad to finally get a good used one. They are out there, keep looking!

I've already gotten a lot of help on this forum. Lots of very knowledgeable people here.

Welcome! There are so many good deals out there on V8s,I would deff say buy a v8 instead of V6. When my car was a v6, I always wished I would have gotten a v8 instead.

yeah. i figure if i drive it right then ill be getting 20 mpg with the v-8. my friend has a z28 with the ls1 and he is geting about 17 city while flooring it all over the place and peeling out. the day he got it he ended up with a speeding ticket for 130. i would frame it if i were him lol. so ill definately try for a z28. but if i see a good deal on a v-6 ill jump on it and get a z28 later
