Newbie from across the pond.
Hi everybody and Happy New Year to you all.
My names Phil (47 yrs old), and I live in England. Been a big fan of Camaros since I bought my first 1990 RS 3.1Lt V6 almost 19 years ago. Got her imported thru the military system via an American airbase over here, as I was in the Royal Navy back then. After 18 and a half years of loyal service, I reluctantly traded her in last month (Nov) for a very new looking 1995 3.4LT V6 which was originally bought in Japan. Only has 26500 miles on the clock, and is in mint condition.
Fallen in love all over again! Managed to source a Haines manual already, and have downloaded a copy of the 95 owners manual (1 that came with car was all in japanese!), so hopefully can do minor jobs on her, but will need your guidance I'm sure in the future. Look forward to your advice and help.
First question for you is, I've noticed my wing mirrors are square shaped, I have an extra flasher light on the front body and the rear lights are unlike any I've seen on US models of that age. Understand they're the export versions, but any idea why? (particularly the mirrors?). Think the US mirrors are much nicer looking, but guess changing them would be very awkward?
