On Sunday, May 6, I pick up my new 2012 Camaro, from the Dealer. This makes me a newbie at another forum to spend time reading about what can be done to make the new car my own. I don't want to mess with the engine, or the electronics - been there, done that on many vehicles and every one of them was driven to death. This car will be the daily runner that is stock performance, no chip, no fancy electronic control systems.

I will, however, be adding things to make it different; just can't seem to able to keep anything exactly like the manufacturer intended. I bought the base model, which gives me plenty of options for upgrades, official and otherwise.

I shall add to this, when I have my car.

Picked up the car at 10:00 today - spent the rest of the day clocking 350 miles getting to know the brute. For a V6 this thing moves. The only impression it gave it was that it is in need of personalizing.

Got it on Sunday, had problems, ten calls later, loan cancelled and the Camaro is going back to the dealer, tomorrow. I won't be getting another one. Shortest time I have ever had a car, or been a member on a forum..
