Just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone. I just purchased a 1969 rs\ss one owner camaro. Orginal interior and paint. Its metalic green with black interior. Paid 19,500 for it. Getting it shipped to Texas. I always wondered what it would be like to drive one, now its a reality. I reciently recieved a check for the 2003 350z that my girlfriend totaled while I'm in Iraq. Now I have a beautiful car that will only go up in value. I can't wait till my r&r. I'm over here as a civilian contractor along side our brave and much respected soldiers. Like I said I just wanted to give a shout out to everybody.

I'm going to run the vin and check everything out. I have the original sales contract dated 7-20-68. Their is a list of extra stuff the guy bought. I was told that it was a rs\ss, and its badged as such. This is my 1st, so I don't really know. It has a 350 with a 4 speed. I only have pictures of the documents. Like I said its coming from www.jakesforgottenpast.net out of Kentucky. I should recieve it by container around the 10th of next month. I'm waiting on the paperwork to be emailed to me today. I rode in my friends 69 z28 and fell in love. So I bought me a 69.

 

Girlfriend is okay. Airbags f-cked up her face. It happened the 17th of this month. You can replace a car, not a loved one. Swelling and her attitude has gone down a bit. She got mad at me about the accident because I was mad 'cause nobdy was telling me anything. Anyways, she's alright. She knows I still care and love her. I have a new real muscle car. And NO she is not driving it.

 

You know I said the samething about my girl not ever driving my car and one day I was tricked and sitting in the passenger seat. Needless to say I was driving that nite.

 

Well, she is no longer my girlfriend. So she will not be driving anything. I'll buy her a bus pass.

I checked the vin. It orginally came with a 327. I didn't find and I dont' think it is a rs/ss. It has all the badges as such. The orginal purchase order has alot of extra stuff added to the car back then. I could care less that it is a rs\ss, it would of been nice though. I liked it and I bought it. It is in very good shape, all orginal metal, orginal interior and guages, and orginal paint. I'm getting the headers and full exhaust replaced. Maybe get the engine rebuilt to withstand 400hp later on when I get back from Iraq. I'm going to keep it the orginal as possible other than the engine.
