Newbie with 2000 coupe V6
Hey all! I'm Charlene (Shar-leen) in Kissimmee FL.
My baby's name is Chark (shark), I'll get a picture up when I can, she's a black 2000 coupe with t-tops, 96k miles, with 18" Mossa Mosaic wheels.
I have suspension issues that I will be posting about, when the Admin lets me (tried already, wouldn't go), or it could just be me not knowing what the F I'm doing.
I also have an aftermarket stereo issue I'm dealing with.
So, hey!

Welcome to the club.
Congrats on the new buy - enjoy the ride,
My suggestion is getting a Haynes manual for reference and write down, maybe make a logbook, for recording any changes for future reference.

I forget the number but you need a few posts in the tech areas before it will let you post picture. Blame all the add bots. Without that there would 1000's of adds posted weekly.
Thank you Everett, for the welcome. Maybe I messed up already with my title, to clarify I am a newbie to the forum, not to owning my camaro. I bought her new off the lot in 2000. She just reached 96k miles and I joined because now I have mechanical issues I'm seeking advice for. I stopped working on my own cars when they stopped putting in carburetors, lol. I used to make extra money rebuilding my friends carburetors. I do have my Haynes manual, it looks about as worn-out as I feel, lol. I posted my most urgent question in the 4th gen suspension forum last night, and after reading through all the audio posts, I'll probably be posting one of those too, and the search was no help.
Thanks gorn for tip, definitely don't want bots.

Well post in the 4th gen V6 Tech Section section . Give us some details on what is going on. I to use to do carbs, I was a GM tech back in the 80's so I hade to know both. Ended up mostly doing trouble shooting fuel injection before I stopped around 1990. I have also owned (3) 4th gens including a 96 3800. You can check out my project in my signature. 96 Camaro build. I bought one with a blown motor I drove that car over 100k after refreshing it .
