Hi. Im 20 years old and just about a week ago i bought my first camaro. Its a '84 Berlinetta. Stock it had the 2.8 and 700R4, but the guy i bought it off of, has already swap in a 350, and turbo 350 from a mid 70s camaro. Pretty nice set up i think. Iv already got a decent sized list of things i want to do to it.
Now for a little of my background. My parents drive ford, my grandparents drive ford. And used to drive ford. But then i got married and my daddy in law gave me his old garage with all the parts in it. And their Chevy ppl. So now i have anywere from 3-5 SBC just layin around, and a spare turbo 350. Growin up i always wanted a fully built up Fox body, after i saw all that stuff, it changed to a fully built up 3rd Gen.
Anyway, other then what iv read from wikipedia, i know nothin about camaros, so you guys are gonna be my source for everything. Its a little rough now, but when im done hopfully it will be really nice.

 

There is nothing but time and money that keeps you from swapping a Chevy engine into a Fox body, or Ford engine in a Chevy body. That way you will keep all your relatives happy. lol

 

Lol i thought about it, but im a bit of a purest. Plus chevys always ride better.
