Default New from Ohio!

Hi all!! My name is Erica, Im 20 years old and love classic cars. My 1968 camaro was my first car, I bought it when I was 14 and brought it home in boxes. I purchased everything for this car myself from money I had saved from working a summer job and 4-H. I put everything I had into restoring this baby and with my dads help, we made her what she is today. Im really proud of how far shes come.

Right now Im actually participating in an online carshow. I won the round for Camaros and am now up for grand prize. http://www.goldeagle.com/brands/104_...romotions.aspx If you want to vote for me!

Me with my prizes from the first contest on coolridesonline.net

She did take 4 years to finish, but we werent working on her hard until the summer that I turned 18.

You would actually be suprised how much money I have into her. About $6800, including the price that I bought the car for. When you do ALL of the work yourself and repair every part you can without buying new, it is possible to do on a budget. I got lucky and have a dad that does amazing body work and ridiculous paint jobs, otherwise I wouldnt have her.

6800 dang nice. And yeah having a Dad who does body work and paints will make things easier lol.

Very nice car and good to see you built it from scratch. That is just awesome.

Holy buckets, nice ride. Your story sounds like exactly what I want to do this summer- mind sharing any specifics on the work that went into the build? 6800 bottom line?!
