Hello Everyone,

My name is Jim and im from a little town in northeast ohio called Leetonia. I am new to the forum, but not new to car forums. I am on Jbody.org and NastyZ28.com. I have 2 cars, One is a 1996 Cavalier which is my DD/show car and the other is a 1981 Camaro which is my project car. I recently bought the camaro from my dad for $1 because my dad doesnt have the time to mess with it and he said he would rather sell me the car for $1 than sell it to the scrap yard for $100. I will also be posting a project thread for the Camaro, which will show all the work i have done to it since i got it.

Welcome to the forum, you got some work to do. I hope you don't go the same route with the camaro as you did the cav.

 

its got some cancer but looks good. keep us posted on a build thread. welcome and enjoy.

 

No the Camaro is going to be stock looking driver, but its not going to be a show car. The cav wont look like what it did before, those were the RICE stages i went through. I am actually just going to make my cav a clean sleek looking style, im just going with a simple lip kit on it and re clear my carbon fiber hood and then it will look alot better. Im outta the bodykit stage, i traded off my bodykit for a stock Z24 style kit, i got the 00-02 Z24 rear bumper with lip, and im going to get the 03-05 LS sport front bumper with lip and a standard set of sides.

I just want to eventually get both cars looking good so i can bring them both to the GM Tuner Bash some day, I been going to the GM tuner bash every year since 2008 and i would like to see a 2nd gen there, i have only seen some 3rd gens, 4th gens, and some vettes at the bashes.

 

I got a build thread started in the 2nd gen section.
