Default New from Minnesota

I purchased a 1980 Z with a four speed in the dark. Yep now sitting in the garage in peices. The pinion nut was removed and no markings to reinstall properly. Well was going to just put the knuckle back on and worry about the proper position later. Well now the knuckle wont seat and I have no idea why. This is my first time at trying to put together a good ride. My wife has not seen the car since purchased about two years ago (in the dog house).
