22 Year old canadian from alberta. went out for a walk one day around the block and seen a guy sellin a 86 z28 iroc for 800 bux. i looked at it.. windshield was smashed, tires burnt off of it but body was mint and it ran (barely)so i didnt walk back home lol. i dont have much money so im going to see if i can breathe life back into her.. she has a couple problems overfuels badly, water pump, sway bars cracked off, parking brakes seized, and the tranny leaks a bit. also some bad jimmyriggin under the hood. but o well. something to do for fun. ive always wanted one, and now i have a project. may take a while hah and i look forward to seeking help from all you fellow chevy nuts. peace. o ya ill add some pics if this darned upload thing would ever work

Not to sound like an ***, but you may have overpaid for the vehicle....did you try bargaining with him? I bet you could have got him to $650-700...But then again everybody likes the name IROC...sounds fast eh?

Finished the water pump, and serviced everything.. oil, plugs, wires,trans, diff, steering.. yet to do the brakes.. but with a new coolant sensor it starts and runs awesome. cant wait till next summer to put her on the road
