New member from Europe - Poland. Camaro '79 =]
Hello!!
I also really DO love american muscle cars (CAMAROs!, Eleonor - from "60 seconds" and many many others)
I own a blue Camaro 1979 (99% sure about the year). Type LT. 350c engine, automatic gearbox. Electric windows, air conditioning (!). It is in a poor condition need to be repaired. It needs a lot of work and HEART in it!
The car drives - gearbox and engine is ok, but it still looks poor.
The story with my Camaro was quite surprising - I found it almost abandoned somewhere in the middle of Poland. I had seen this car 1,5 year before my last visit there. The car stood in the same place for all this time. I decided to leave a piece of paper with my mobile phone number, because sb simply left this car. I didn't know whether there actually is an owner of that car
After 2 months of leaving the piece of paper - sb called me
I decided to buy it and try to renovate it!
Previous owner got this car from US around 10 years earlier, then after 2-3 years of driving the car started to break down... He left it in a garage and he had financial problems. Actually he wasn't that CAR FREAK as big as I am
Now I am after 1 month of buying it I'm searching for help how to repair (renovate it).
I typed "camaro forum" in google and this forum appered
I would love to find some useful help here, because I have problems (and I will have problems) with parts, mechanics, paintigs, engine, gearbox etc.
I will ask you gently for help with repairing and renovating my camaro.
Thank you for all your help! I hope that you will have an impeccable member with nice camaro in Poland
THANKS !
Sony
PS. I am also a fan of Audi cars - I also own Audi A6 2,0 TDI 2006r sedan

You are more than welcome to post a couple pics of your camaro here for everyone to see but you really need to create a New Thread in the Second Gen Section for your "Progress" and/or "Questions". This is a great Forum, with lots of very friendly and knowledgable people who love to help others. I look forward to seeing your Camaro.

Wow
Thank you!! It is very nice to hear it!
Some pictures will be added as soon as possible - on saturday probably.
I don't really have time to sit in from of the screen because after my work I am spending whole time in my garage (and now I'm writing from my work) I will have some questions about parts - I'm not sure what are they for... related to break fluid etc. but this in a new topic (as You said Scooch)
Can I already create a new topic in "Second Gen Section" or shold I wait for approval or full registration?
Thanks
PS. Best wishes for Xmas
