hi all, im a new member, I scored a original 71 rs/ss. trying to find out from everyone what should I do. keep some of the original parts or some aftermarket stuff

 

some aftermarket is good but I would keep it original? has is it got the 396 ,I seen an original sell for $59.000 so some are rare, ?this is matching numbers car they had so many options ,I would not tear it up if you got a whole car ,some pictures would be great love to see it welcome to the forum,lucky you as close as some get is a 99 RS an 95 ss clone,i want an old one day ,but the gen one engine in my 95 works good photo bucket works great

thanks,yea ive been looking for a split bumper for a while and I just happen to find that one. they are def getting hard to find.thats a nice motor.

 

Welcome 71rsss. I am fairly new here as well. I looked at one of your other posts and saw the pics of your new car. Awesome project. How many of the early 70's Camaro's are around your area? I think I have only seen 2 others around where I'm at in Albuquerque, NM. Congrats on getting hold of a near extinct early 70's Camaro

 

thanks nice to meet you. ive only seen 1 in my area. the guy didn't realize what he had when he sold it to me.ive been wanting a split bumper for a long time. I have a 68 but they are everywhere.
