Im a new member here on this forum. I'm glad to meet all of you and i hope to learn everything i can and be able to be part of this community.

Dont have a camaro yet, but hopefully i'll get one soon!

 

Welcome aboard! What kind of Camaro are you looking into getting?

 

Not sure yet, the 2010 SS looks amazing. I guess you can say im new to all the American muscle... been more interested in Euro cars and Japanese cars most of my life. but i gotta start somewhere right?

 

Depending on the money available, I'd start with a 4th gen SS Camaro. Preferably a 2000-2002. That's me tho

 

Can I ask why?

 

It's an absolutely amazing car but about a 1/3 of the price of a 2010 Camaro. You can pick up a very very nice 2002 SS 6-speed for probably 8-10k

 

An 02 SS or Trans Am will do 0-60 in about the same time as the 2010 SS (5 seconds compared to 4.9). I personally like the 4th gen F bodies better than the new Camaro, but hey, to each his own. Welcome to the board, its a good place to chill.

 

I still think Camaroforums.com need's instant messaging!

 

A chat type room or message board would be useful I think. Or maybe we can make up an IRC channel.

 

Agreed. Or maybe we should create a page on Facebook for Camaroforums.com for people to chat there. Speaking of which, do you have a facebook?
