New to learn A LOT!
Hey ya'll. I don't own a Camaro yet, but I plan on finding one by the middle of next year. My truck will be paid off in April, so I will need a ballzy SS to go with my ballzy Cummins. Always been a fan of the 4th Gens since high school (grad. in '98), and specifically the '00-02 models. Friend of mine had a 99 (i think) SS back in like '00, and I have loved them since.
So while I know only a little about these 4th gens, I am pretty auto savvy, so I hope I can still help where I can.
BTW, while I have been looking at these cars for about a year now in preparation, and doing a little reading as of lately, one of the first articles I read a couple weeks ago was this one I found on google. Some of you may have read it from the LS1 Tech site, and I'm sure some of you will get a kick out of it.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I think the "ram air" is barely beneficial unless moving upwards of 100+ mph, and thats only a guess. It may be closer to 150mph. If anything it may give you cooler air if there are no leaks between the inlet from the hood and the intake on the engine. I mean, it may provide a tiny bit a relief in energy the engine is using to suck air in through the intake valves, but I'm sure it would take special lab equipment to measure the amount of vacuum that is lessened.
