Hi everyone....I just signed up for this forum and am hoping I can get some answers to some of my camaro questions, and learn some new stuff too. My husband usually took car of all this stuff, but unfortunatly he was killed last September ( horrible motorcyle accident ), and now I'm all alone. He was a truly gifted motorhead... he always said you can never have too much horsepower. Anyway, he built me this beautiful 2002 35th anniversay edition ss Camaro. Right now I have some 410 gears in there, but the spider gears are blown, so they have to be replaced. ( have some in the garage). Aside from the gears, all is pretty well with the mechanics of the car, but I have some questions about detailing and stuff. The weather here in jersey can wreck havoc on rims!! I have aluminum american racing rims, and unfortunatly I neglected them all winter. ( just too sad ) Any suggestions on polishing them up? Also, there are a few scratches etc. in the paint (black). I know this may sound trivial to some of you, but like I said, he took care of the car, I took care of him. I'm sure someone out there can help me - thanks - will post pic as soon as I figure out how. Talk again soon.............

welcome and sorry for your loss
about the wheels you can try some mothers mag and aluminum polish or metal rx i would recommend the metal rx myself it is all that i use. and once you get them cleaned up i would go over it with obsessive detail wheel seal to protect it from getting the way it was before
