Default New here and to chevy! 69 Camaro

Hey guys what is up , my name is Jose. I currently reside in California and I normally daily drive and weekend warrior an 07 mustang saleen. just last night i got my hands on a 69 Camaro Vin# for a v6. Has a few goodies including a 454 with an overbore and some other after market parts, comes with a ford 9" rear so i know it has a good rear end lol. Defiantly needs some work but after shopping around it is super cheap to what i seen some things go for. Looking forward to being part of the gen1 fam, project thumper soon to set sail.

Welcome Thumper_454,
Just like you I had a 1998 Cobra Mustang with all the go fast stuff on it. Just traded it for my 1970 Camaro SS. Old school is the only school. Ha ha. Sounds like you got a beast of a car with the big block and a strong rear end. As you start working on it keep sending pics of your progress. Awesome purchase you got there.

Welcome, Jose.
Enjoy your BBC & 9 inch.
If mine, I would replace with stock hood and clearcoat what's there now for the sleeper look.
