Default New here

Hey everyone, I'm Bas Jussen, 38 yrs, law clerk from the island of Curacao (in the sunny Caribbean, would much rather live in the USA though!). I'm planning on buying a 5th gen Camaro V6 in Florida and import it to the island before summer (I wish I could get the V8 but gas prices here are very high). I've previously owned a '84 Camaro V8 and a whole bunch of classic US cars over the years.
Best regards,
Bas

Welcome Bas. One winter in the Midwest and I think you'd appreciate being in the Caribbean again.

Depending on how you are planning on driving the car, the V8 fuel burn is not too much higher than the V6 during normal travel. It is when you boost it that the guage visibly drops. Mine is a 2011 at 630hp and I can really go through the fuel when I see 150+ in the windshield, but can easily run at 26+ on the highway. Even my supercharger is off when not in demand. I wouldn't overlook the V8's if that is what you really want.
