Default New Here 1970

Hi everyone! My name is Danielle. My husband, Brian, and I just bought a 1970 Camaro from a dealership in PA. We live in NC and after receiving the car last week we have found a ton of things wrong that weren't disclosed and that we are clueless on how to fix. We were told it was drivable and just needed interior work which we were more then willing to do but have now found tons of wires that aren't connected to anything, some not even spliced, dashboard components not working, and basically I think we got taken. Anyway, hoping we can find some good resources on here to help us sort through all of this!!

Sorry to hear about the raw deal. You will be able to find most answers in the second generation section of these forums. be prepared to get your camera handy, pictures always help. Also you can find a Chiltons rapair manual on the net (ebay etc..) that recourse will help alot. Welcome to the forums. Dont worry, you dont need alot of experiance to fix some of the stuff, just a willingness to learn and some patience.

Welcome to the forum. If the car was bought at a dealership and it was sold as "drivable" you can probably have them fix it for free seeing as it sounds that it is not fit. As for wires not being connected to anything, don't worry too much, they could be for components that your car doesnt even have, extras like Ac and all the little goodies. My car has several of them, as for the dashboard components(some of them) could be as simple as a fuse, relay or a small harness clip loose or whatnot. But you and your husband are in a good place, lots of info here, post away and enjoy your car. And post up some pic's for us.
