New Happy '91 Camaro owner
Hi to all,
Just to warn you guys, I am extremely new to the "muscle" car scene, and tuning up/modifying cars as well. I am still in Highschool, in my Junior year. I am signing up with you guys mostly to share my joy with my car, and to ask technical questions, which ill make a post for later (so dont flame me, my questions may be the most obviously things to you, but I am really inexperienced in this area ). So anyway, I recently came into possession of a 1991 camaro. It has a 350 engine, bored out to a 383 stroker, pretty much the only preformance modification it has, (as far as i know ) as well as a custom exaust. The seats are reupholstered, new carpet, 20' chrome rims with Z rated tires, dual amps with audiobhan subs. There are very few scratches on it, though I am working on getting some touch-up paint for it, and make it into a extremely nice looking car I can bring to car shows. I havent got the car dyno'd yet, nor taken it to the track, so I cant really say how fast it really is, other than my speedometer goes up to 110 mph, and on a couple of occasions, i "bury the needle" and push it farther than it can show, so i dont know where it tops out!
On to the pictures!! You will notice there are Z28 markings on the sideskirts, and a matching one on the rear bumber, though it has more of the "RS" type spoiler, dont ask me how its like that, i dont know. I dont have any "under the hood" shots, mostly because theres nothing really pretty about it, im planning to change most of the wiring and tubing and whatnot, and replace it with a "chrome" look, so i can show it off. haha
ONE LAST THING BEFORE PICS!!!!!!! Please disregard the "SS" stickers on the front bumper and the body panel, these are pics when I first bought the car, and I quickly removed the stickers after.

First of all those rims need to go...yuck...then those ugly *** SS graphics....sorry that's just me but whoever had this car before you does not have taste in my opinion...Camaros should not have rims bigger than 18's at maximum and those rims scream "RICE" to me...as well as the SS graphics, no such thing as an SS in 3rd gen's i believe, but sorry for my critique, I take my 3rd gen's seriously

if you read more carefully, i specificly said i removed the SS graphics. They **** me off too. You can only have SS graphics if you have THE SS package. I dont, so the stickers are historyyyyyyyyyy.
But about the rims, yeah I know that they are a lil big, I might just replace them for some 17's or even a bit smaller, and have some old school rims. who knows?

Welcome to the forums. Is that the original engine. Do you know if you have a B4C option?
