Post New guy: Working on 69 Restoration

Hello everyone. First a little about myself. I'm 25 and I’ve always loved cars. I'm not a one make man. I love all old American cars be it GM, Ford or Mopar 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s. It’s hard for me to go into a junkyard because I'll see some classic and want to take it home and fix up it. Just the thought of it sitting there rusting saddens me so much. The only thing that stops me is money and lack of storage space.

Well I recently had my hours cut down to 12 hours a week at work. A friend helped me out and now I am getting paid to restore Camaros! Bob has a total of 7 Camaros, all 69s, 2 are restored and 5 (4 coupes 1 convertible) are eagerly waiting to be restored. I'm working on the worst of them a coupe I’ve named Basket Case. She in bad shape and need LOTS of bodywork. I first started working on her with bob in 2003 but then Bob bought a 66 Mustang coupe to help a friend out. We had to get it done before winter so all work stopped on Camaro. I ended up buying the mustang off Bob for $3,000. Well now I am back working on Basket Case and loving it.

For all you first gen guys I am making a video log my progress on the 69’ Camaro you can check it out here. I love any feedback, comments or suggestion you guys could offer. Thanks in advance!
