Hey everybody my name is Tony. Im 20 years old and Im from Jamestown, NY. I have owned an 85 Camaro (base 4cyl) and an 88 Firebird (chevy 350 w/ 700R4 trans).

I have a question about a car I may be getting (hope I dont jynx myself by asking) Anyways Im looking at trading my 97 Civic for an 89 Camaro RS. The kid told me it had a 305 but when I got out to see it, it only had the 2.8 6cyl engine. Its a 5 speed manual and my question is can I drop in a 350 without changing transmissions? Several people have told me all I would have to do is change bellhousings and it will be fine but I thought I would check before I invest the time and money only to find out it wont work or that Ill have to spend even more money on a new trans. Thanks guys!

I hope this trade goes through, I cant wait to get back into the chevy game.
