My name is Alex and i finally made the switch from so called rice boxes to modern day muscle

i picked up a 4th gen shell a couple of days ago and am currently reviewing my option on motor, tranny. etc.

my DD is a 99 1st gen neon with a 2.0 on boost

I'm only 19 and always wanted to own a big old V8 but never had the money to get into a somewhat reliable Chevy. So i picked up the neon and it's been through hell and back. Finally i am here with this clean shell sitting in my garage screaming BUILD ME lol.

Happy to join to forum and learn more about these Machines that don't require Boost to reach high numbers.

 

welcome man, what engine you thinking about for far. And what kind of shell did you pick up, was it a v6 or v8 car?

it's a v6 with a blown engine but for 100 bucks i could not say no u will understand once i put the pics up. I have off 2morrow and will post them up

 

Well if you plan to put a v8 in there, you're going to want to do some suspension upgrades, the stock v6 springs will be overwhelmed by a v8. But that was my only concern with your shell. Other than that, sounds like you got one heck of a deal. Good luck with it and keep us posted on the progress.
