New guy from NC
I posted the car in the 4th gen section already but figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself here as well. Car is a 1998 Camaro V6 Y87 car that I bought 2 years ago as a "sanity" buy. It was wrecked and the PO was not very forth giving.
Here is what I bought:
Took the car home and fixed it within three hours after getting a hood and fender. First mod was wheels. I went a totally different route than most folks do anymore with C4 vette sawblades.
Over the past couple years, I've been on a v6 dedicated site... so I decided to do a nasty NA 3800 build... first major purchase was the cam.
This all worked fine for awhile as I was unemployed due to our lovely economic status. So last spring... I figured it was time to try to get the appearance better. Ordered a new hood and front valence.
So hear I am now... spring of 2011. Decided that it might be time to bring the car even closer to being acceptable within the f-body world. So I called up OE wheels and ordered the C6Z06 DD wheels in gunmetal grey.
And just for good measure... here is a photoshop of my work in progress with the new wheels.
