Hello.
Im new to this site and am in the process of buying my first camaro.
Its a 1976 base model with a newer 350 small-block and a holly 4 barrel carb. I've only seen a picture of it, but I'm driving 2 1/2 hours on Friday or Saturday to pick it up. My good friend dave rebuilt the engine and tran a year ago.
I cant wait to see it up close.

I was talking to my friend dave and he told me that he had removed the emissions system. What dose that mean as far as driveability and performance?

Welcome, looks like you've got a fairly solid base to work with there.
Removing the emissions isn't going to give you a boost in performance. But it might clean up the engine bay, depending on what you remove.
Post some questions in the 2nd gen tech section if you want to get into it further.
