Hi, just bought my first Camaro, got a 1979 Z28. It's a bit of a beater but the motor has been rebuilt has a fairly new Edelbrock Carb, headers, and flowmasters...well that's all I can tell from looking at it I've only had it 4 days.

I'm from Minnesota but Navy has posted me in Hawaii....looking forward to learning from this site and tinkering with my new toy. I've always wanted a 69 Z28 but with being on a island and only like 3 restored ones available for 40K I settled for a 79 for 4K...not much auto mech skills but I can get by with a Chiltons and tools...something I've picked up from the Navy maintenance system.....
