New Guy to the Forum
I'm not new to Forum's, or Car's. Just these 2 (the camaro and this forum) ahahah
My Grammer on forums is not amazing, just because I type like im Talking to you, not like im writing a book.
(it drive's me nuts when people get mad over how you type, typing like an english teacher bores me)
Anyways on to the Speil.
I'm a Former Dirt Track Guy (raced dirt half mile for 5 years, in street stocks. mostly mid 80s montes/cutlass regals)
So i know about small blocks and stuff like that.
I also built a Drag monte in the past, i miss that car .
I got into the Honda CRX scene for a While
Im pretty known on crxcommunity.com .
I Just missed my old american muscle, RWD tires that spin without spitting parts.
And not to mention, Budget Horsepower (theres no replacement for displacement)
So whut up?
I'm Coveted, I just Purchased a 1982 T Top camaro Roller
The body is SOLID no major rust issues, no dents.
And im really loving this car right now.
My goal is going to be a Drag car, that i summer drive.
No show car's here
i don't know alot about the car, other then it came with an extra posi rear.
its a Roller (no motor or trans)
and it was a manual transmission car (i can drive stick but ill be putting an auto in it)
auto wins drag races
Apparently (i ran the vin, still need someone to do a full carfax for me tho)
It was a 4cyl camaro, which is CRAZY, but the Car has been Linked (front sub frame to the Rear)
and obviously prior to me, had a Small Block in it.
I know, this is useless without pics, the car sat in primer for 2 years, so its a lovely "i need to be sanded, primered and painted"
combo of grey and brown ahahaha. no rot tho, just some surface discoloration
Which is cool, these car's are considered a classic now right, 25 years?
Anyways ive babbled on enough.

RE: New Guy to the Forum
welcome to the forums
I dont call the 80's classic. I call the late 60's early 70's classic, before a lot of smog, and electronics. Maybe because thats what I know. I stoped working as a mechanic in the mid 80's because I didnt want to learn the puters on the new cars.
Where are you from?
