About me and the car.

I purchased the car in 1994, Norfolk, Va. It had I think about 60,000 mile on it. Paid $11,000 from a dealer. Car was flawless except for the door dings from the parking lots. I was in the Navy and bought the car for handling and gas mileage (2.8), beings it needed to travel to Illinois on occasion. The car was ran hard for 3 years and about 25 trips across the interstates from Va to Il. She never let me down. She has pushed snow in Kentucky with her nose for about 100 miles, this took about 7 hours to go about 100 miles that night, never forget ever. 4x4's were in ditches and I was on I-65 heading north. After getting out of the Navy, Dec97, she gave up. I lost intake gaskets and the antifreeze got in the crankcase and locked her up. It had about 150,000 on her then. Motor was pulled, new motor installed in 2000, car was ran for another year or so and kids came in to my life more, car was then parked in a barn from then till this part memorial day weekend. Shouldve seen this mess. About an inch of dirt on it, gas is complete varnish (bright red). Fuel pump didnt work. So a new pump was installed in the barn, hooked up the cables to the battery, added 5 gallons of good gas, 2 bottles of heat and she fired up. The dents as you see in the pics are from my last week in the Navy, a bit too much booze and a wet night on a I-64 on ramp and a guard rail. Not good! So now here we are, daughter of mine turns 16, May 12 of next year. She wants my car. Wife calls it junk. So the fun begins, daughter wins. Needs front fender, 2 doors, repair on the rear quarter, 4 tires, rear coil springs, T-tops seals and panels as shown in the pics, exhaust (needs converter) has a hole in the pipe, headliner, headlight bezel assembly, and some paint. Brakes are new and the cat back exhaust is good.Stereo pounds with MTX speakers, amps, Kenwood deck. About me I am by trade an auto mechanic, specialize in GM. But have opted to go into the CNC machining industry where I am a Supervisor for more $$. Any parts, comments, concerns are appreciated.
