Just found this forum and it looks pretty active so I signed up.I have a 1979 Z28 with 32k miles.I bought the car in 98 with 28k.It has won 7 World of Wheels trophys.I dont drive it much but I do drive it.It was stock with alot of chrome when I got it.I have installed a shift kit,3000 TCI converter,Pete Jackson gear drive(love the sound)speed pro cam and lifters and had 2 1/2 inch duals ran with flowmasters and high flow converters.Also installed headers.I would love to gut the a/c and just build a rocket ship but cant bring myself to modify this original # matching car.I will post pics when the weather breaks.I have never had the car to the track.I am sure with all the chrome plating it would be really slow but who knows....

anyone know what a Z28 intake that has been chrome plated wieghs????? My guess about 95lbs.When I pulled the intake the front end went up at least an inch or two....lol


Anyway.....I am glad I found the board....
