Default New Guy.

Hey guys,

New to the forum, looking into purchasing a Camaro fairly soon. My current car is a '99 Chevy Tahoe 4dr, and before that was an '02 Tahoe. Im looking forward to learning a lot about these cars and customizing mine once I have it.

My budget is $5k, do you guys think its possibly to get an Ls1 based Camaro for that much $$$, or would I have to look at an Lt1. Im still not sure about all of the different engines, but I am ding my reading. What I do know is that I want the most power for my money though.

Thanks,
Dan

I also have a question in terms of the forum preferences. I am wondering if there is a way to set it so that all threads from the beginning show in each section, rather than just from the previous day...? I know all you have to do is click the drop down bar and it will change, but is it possible to set it, so that I don't have to do that? I looked in my UserCP and couldn't find anything about it....

Thanks again,
Dan

Just thought of another question, are there any major things I should look at when buying a used camaro? Any problem areas?

Welcome to the Forum Dan. I dont know much about anything other than 1st Gen Camaros. You should direct your Camaro Questions to the Tech Sections. As for the Forum Layouts, we are all kinda struggling with it ourselves as we just got a major update recently. You probably should direct that question to the Forum Issues Section. Good Luck with your Camaro Purchase, be sure to come back and post Pics when you get it.
