Been visiting the site for a while now, mostly looking thru the 2nd gen tech forum. Lot's of folks asking the same questions I have...so has been very helpful. Thought I should go ahead and registor.

Me: 19 year Navy vet stationed in Oklahoma City.

Car: 1977 LT. Second owner car, mostly stock with 92K miles. Drove it that way for about 3 years although didn't put many miles on it as I was deployed for over half that time. Now have it tore down for drive train upgrade along with other misc. projects. I'm calling it phase-I of what I'm sure will be a lifetime project! Here's what's going in:

355 Pace Blueprint short blockwith a Edelbrock RPM Performer Top End Kit (heads, intake, cam)
Holley 770 Street Avenger
Crane roller rockers
Dynatech 1 3/4ceramic coated headers
Moroso pan & pump
GMPP serpentine kit
Mallory HEI Dist.

Freshened the Muncie 4-speed (M-21)
Center force clutch, press. plate, T/O bearing, etc.

Vintage Air A/C unit
New dash pad
Covan Classic inst. panel with Auto meter sport comp gauges
New carpet

Don't even ask how much $$$ and hours I've got into it. Should have a solid hot rod back on the road before summer ends. I'll post photo's when I figure out how to.....
I've still got ton's of tech questions...look forward to corresponding with other Camaro Nuts!.

 

Welcome to the forums! The way I post pictures is I add pictures to a free PhotoBucket.com account and then use the icon at the top when posting that has a picture of mountains and a sun. You just put in your picture's link and it puts it with your post. It sounds like you have a good idea what is going into the car. Good luck, and post many pics!
