New to the forum w/ an 01'
My name is Timothy, I have only had one car my entire life and I want to keep it in the best condition possible. It is a 2001 Camaro, 109k miles, black, and it now has a salvage title because I had my first wreck ever summer 2010. I refused to let it be totaled because I got it fixed and painted for merely 2,200. In the past I have focused on making it look good by installing leather interior, 4 way door speakers, audiobahn amp+subwoofers, alpine deck, all rear 18" corvette rims instead of the 18-17 offset, flowmaster exhaust, and performance headers. It sounds mean, and I have had so many people try to buy the car off me and/or think it is a v8. I have the car looking aesthetically pleasing but I would like to do some stuff under the hood. I have also never replaced the shocks... so that needs to be done too. I have gone onto Jegs.com and have seen some things, but I need some advice what can be done to a v6 to make it back up the growl produced by the engine. I have little experience with tools, but I like to learn. I am new, so pictures will be uploaded from new, wrecked, and refurbished.

Welcome to the forum. Sucks about wrecking the car, but that's awesome you only had to pay $2k to get it back in running condition. Modding a V6 is a very common question, it gets asked like 5 times a day, so do yourself a favor and explore the 4th gen section, the V6 sub category in 4th gen, and do searches first before posting any questions. There's a ton of info on here and plenty of experienced people to answer questions. And post pics!
