Hello. My name is André and I live in São Paulo, Brazil.

I have recently purchased a 1967 Camaro that needs full restoration, since it is in really bad shape. Nevertheless, the engine it came with is a 454, with a TH350 automatic gearbox.

My project includes a 500HP 454 fuel injected engine, a Tremec TKO manual 5-gear gearbox and I'm still in doubt which color to paint it. The original was Deepwater Blue, but I'm considering the Marina Blue, which I like a lot. The wheels will be 18X8 in the front and 18X9,5 in the rear, but I don't know yet which design or color.

I know it will take a lot of time and money, but I intend to learn a lot here in the Forum, and also contribute as much as I can as well.

Thanks and best regards. André.

Awsome find. It would be worth while restoring a grand old car like that. Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you, but those older cars tend to be a bit easier to work on than modern ones.

Hope your project goes well - I guess we'd all like to see some pics.

Some pictures...by the way, scary ones...

I have a lot of new sheet metal to restore it and I'll put pictures as soon as I take them.

Thanks, cowboy. It will take a long time and a lot of money, but it will be worth. A completely restored 1967 Camaro here in Brazil is not easily sold, but its value is around US$70K. Not that I'll sell it, but more probably leave to my sons.
