Hi, New to this forum from the Northwest. I have owned all gens except the 5th. That will change soon! Currenly have 69 Daytona Yellow SS with Daytona Yellow Houndstooth Interior. Makes for a rare car but a nightmare to restore interior!! I bought this car from the orginal owner in 1986 for $3,000! The RV shop I was working at the woman who owned pulled up to get parts for husband. I jokingly said I bet you hear this all the time, but you want to sell your car to me, and she said she would! When I asked her the price I couldn't get to the bank fast enough!!! Car is all original (except paint) matching #'s, but she had engine rebuilt in 84 and they decked the block removing the numbers!!! I made a stupid mistake in 96 getting the Corvette itch and sold it to a buddy. Regreted ever since and would visit my buddy from time to time. He parked it in his gargage and basically sat never moving. I would tell him everytime I would visit sell me my car back! He said I have it now and you'll never get it back. 13 years later he suddenly needed some money so guess who go their car back! In 13 years he put 200 miles on it. Everything was the same as the day I sold it to him. He bascially stored it for me for 13 years. Even the title was still in my name!!!!! Now again replacing things that needed to be fixed, changed all fluids, replaced gaskets and small things. Feels good to have back again!!

Welcome to the Forums, lots of good people here, ENJOY !! The guy who installed a new windshield on my 94 Z28 showed me his Yellow/black 69 Camaro last week. Those 1st Gens are SWEET !! Glad to hear you got it back !
