The trans is not a problem, I prefer a non electronic trans anyways, after having issues in the 97 that caused the trans to stop working without power I prefer not having to deal with electronics when it comes to the transmission. My main idea was replacing interior/dash and update everything inside and if I have to run wires for updated features I do not mind. I want to install dynamat in the car anyways. I will post pictures in cardomain I have so far and I will take more pictures tomorrow while its daylight.

Here are a few pictures on the day I got the car; I removed the crane cam crap off the car, also I was at Wawa gas station and someone backup and then tried to turn and ended up scraping the pass rear bumper on the side. I wasnt upset considering I am going to replace all body parts on it anyways then get a paint job. I saved him from having to pay for a new paint job on the fender.

I just got used rear tires today which helps out a lot; I did verify it does have traction control; because I saw the pass rear tire was bald and worse than the driver side. I will get pictures of the interior as soon as I have a moment to take them. the temp gauge does not work on dash; but I am careful to verify the engine is running right and not overheating. I replaced the temp cooling sensor that goes in the water pump. After taking care of a few bills this month I am going to replace the rest of the sensors in engine compartment. I just took pictures and will upload them in a few moments.

Here is the bumper scrape from a careless driver

Also the previous owner decided to remove the epoxy/weld for the door so he wouldnt have to buy a door key; I tried epoxying it back the best I could but I am going to just rivet the door until I buy new doors

The previous owner screwed in the front license place on the nose bottom which made it look horrible.

I admit having the vents cut out was not a bad idea but moisture in the engine bay would screw with my optispark. So I am thinking about riveting a cover behind it until I replace the hood/nose together

I just remembered I posted something about replacing the quarter panels, me not thinking, the quarter panels are part of the unibody so I will just have the small dent fixed that is right above the passenger rear bumper behind the wheel. I looked closely and it isnt that bad just someone that can fix dents would be a cheap fix.
I am expecting to spend atleast 6 to 10 grand on repair/rebuild/modification but if I can get it all done the way I want it before june 2013. I am a happy camper so I can go for rides in the summer.

Once I get the funds started, which will be first week in Feb I am planning on starting the thread but I am going have to set it up in sections: interior, exterior, engine and modifications. The thing is since I am off on tues, thurs, sat and sun I can work on the car without interruptions. I am thinking about first getting the exterior done first so I can get that out of the way. I will do the interior all at once but will want to remove the dash so I can put dynamat in it.
I do have a question, do you know anyone that is getting rid of a throttle cable? I need one really bad because my partway throttle response is acting up. I would prefer not getting one from hawksthirdgen because of the fact I really want to get it cheaper than $50.00 being that is it used. [hawks says its 35.00 but add shipping makes it $50]

Howdy Camaro people, I've owned a few Camaros in the past and about twelve years ago my wife and I purchased what is now referred to as "My Mistress". She was painted and running about ten years ago and then I took her apart... fast forward and now I have time and a little money to work on her so she is back on the road to being a project. We hope to have her on the road by August 2014. We are doing a lot of modification to her. www.KBRestorations.com is where My Mistress is now; Kevin is making our ideas real for us. He is a great car builder! I will post pictures in the upcoming months. We have added Kindigit designs "Spoon" door handles and a Fatman Fab front sub frame with Airwave shocks. 22 gallon fuel tank, 69 Charger fuel door, 69 Camaro tail lights and driving lights. Much more has been done and there is a lot more to come. I hope to get advice from this forum.
