sportyjoe here, this my first time using this forum. I am in the market to purchase a 1998 to 2002 ss or z/28. I would appreciate any advice anyone could give. I just got to have a LS1 powered camaro. I used to own a '78 w/ a 305 and a 4 speed, and plain '69 w/ a 327. I had to sell them to raise my family, now my daughter is grown and married. It's time for me to get in a ss or a z/28.

My advice is simple. Get one. I had a 96 Camaro in 96, and traded it for a 99 Trans Am in 99. In 2001, I traded it for a Hyundai Elantra! Wife and family changes things... About 4 months ago, I decided I wanted a Camaro again, started searching, and found a 2002 SS with 9750 miles on it. I've had it about a month and I love it. Only issue is blown door speakers that I'm going to replace.
