Whats up name is jamie and i own an 83 camaro just bought it and i was just wondering if the 305 is worth building up or would i be better off going with a 350 my goal is around 350 hp but im not sure weather to get a 350 or work with what i have thanks

Depends on Your budget. I've never been comfortable buying a running engine from a junkyard. I think You'd be surprised by checking on a Crate deal from GM. I think You could get a basic 350 with a warranty for under $1500 with a little shopping around. Try Scoggin ****ey performance.
