Hi, my name is Josh I'm 16 and I just purchased a 1986 Gunmetal grey Camaro Z28. I've had 4 cars since I turned 16, 3 being 240sx, I just recently sold my last one which look like this:

and bought this today for $1300:


I think it was a good deal since I cant find a Z28 of this year for under $3500. It has rust, mostly surface and only one rust hole which i will fix. The only thing this car needs is a good tune up, I am the third owner and the previous owner replaced anything that needed to be replaced as soon as it needed it. The previous owner told me this wasnt a common color and only 360 or something like that was made in this color. I would appreciate it if you could help me varify this. It doesnt matter its only for person preferance.

I'm from the south suburbs, and i put a lot of time and money into that car, it was a great car, just needed paint. I'll probably post more pics of the Z tomorrow after i give her a bath

its not mine anymore, its someone elses problem now. and thanks, i plan on fixing any rust and painting it the same color

 

Welcome, good luck with your ride. The 3rd gens are growing on me the more I see them. I just may end up wanting one, I've had a fourth gen, now a second gen.
