It has a repaired title, blown airbags, loose mainshaft bearings in the T5, and 203,000 miles on it. Just my style!!

I've turned a few wrenches, rebuilt a few transmissions, and drive heaps that usually run really well!

I can't wait to participate in this new venue!

Thanks!
IDCamaro1994,

Welcome aboard and congrats on your Camaro! When you are able to drive it some more, please let us know how well you enjoy it!

Happy driving,

OK.
Just got the T5 back in with a new LUK clutch, machined flywheel, and bronze pilot.
It feels great! Setting it down on the tires and getting it legal to drive, paperwork-wise.
BTW- my trans parts guy gave me a tip: soak the pilot in Dex III for a while before installing. I'm glad I did! I found a small pile of shavings in the bottom of the cup when I took out the bushing for installation! It also soaked up quite a bit of fluid.
Will post again after test drive!

Well, OK. Just took it out yesterday for a good long test drive.
The T5 shifts beautifully! But I think I will have to work on the rear end. Lots of noise when the rear axle is loaded. It leaks like a sieve from the left valve cover! I tightened the two studs I can reach (they were barely finger-tight!), but LOTS of smoke pours out from under the hood!

BUT, it pulls pretty good! Not bad for $600! OH! And the oil pressure drops out to near zero once the engine has fully warmed up.

PROBLEM FIXED! The oil pressure sending unit was leaking all over my exhaust Y-pipe! So I knew that I wasn't getting an accurate reading at that point.

Changed it out with a BWD Select sender and the smoke went away and my oil pressure is reading RIGHT where is should be.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
