Default New camaro owner in need of HELP

I dont know where to begin. My name is Diana, I inheritated a 69 camaro 307 from my aunt. I live in IL she lived in Atlanta. The car was shipped up here and now I need to know what to do with it. I have many, many questions. It runs alright, looks good, but I need to know things like, how to keep it from being stolen? (I live in a condo with outside parking, I plan on getting a storage unit in the next month but until then) Winterizing? Anything in general you guys can tell me about it would be tremendously helpful. Thanks!

Welcome! nice looking car

well i reccomend getting a auto lock, i got mine from pep boys, they have several levels, i go the all steel one which was about $65, basically it goes over the clutch or brake pedal to help it from getting stolen, and since its steel it cant be cut like most steering wheel locks, im not too keen on the club type devices, make sure when you park it have the rear wheels closest to a wall so it cant be towed

I've seen some wild ways of locking up cars. You could do something as simple as a battery switch. That way you have to open the hood to connect the battery to start the car. Simple things work. Nice car!

The majority,if not all of your questions, can be answered by your local auto parts shop. The independent one is usually better than the chain store with the 16 year old kids. It's a good thing to get to know these guys,as you will be a regular customer soon enough!
