New Camaro owner, did I get ripped off?

RE: New Camaro owner, did I get ripped off?
Even if the engine needs work he still got a good deal as long as the body is straight, and the paint and interior is good. If the car has been driven right then the 100,000+ miles wont be to big of a factor either. I agree the plugs and wires should be the first place to start. I would wait to change them until you get the tank of gas burned up and some fresh premium gas in the tank. I would also go ahead and change the oil and oil filter, the fuel filter, the air filter, and the o2 sensor. This would make for a good tune up. If the car was still running funny then I would take it to the shop for expert advise. I still dont think you got a bad deal. I almost bought a 1995 Z28 last month for $1000.00 dollars. The body was in good condition and with the exception of a small dent on the right rear fender it was great. The interior needed a lot of work. There was not a motor. The original LT1 had been blown up with nitrous and was gone. The tranny was gone as well. I think you got a decent deal for what you spent. A little TLC and you can have a bad *** car. Dont be discouraged. Post some pics.
