Default New to Camaro Forums

I am new to the Camaro Forums. I recently purchased a 69 SS Camaro. It was in great shape. It was a garage find. The car had been restored about 17 years ago. Basically it was never driven since the restoration.

I went to have one of the tire beads sealed to the rim, since it had a slow leak. The tire people would not fix it, since the tire were 17 years old per the date code. All the tires still have the rubber "feathers" on the tread.
They looked like new. Needless to say I got new tires. Oupgrade I made was power steering. Repainting 15x7 ralley wheels. What a difference.

rmsls1,

Welcome and congrats on your Camaro. How does it feel to own one?

Thanks to all. It feels good to have one. A friend of mine had a new one (SS396) when were were in high school. Both of us were pretty proud of it, tooling around town. Now this car brings back those memories.

Here is a picture of the car as I rolled it off of my trailer. About two hours later I had it up and running!
