Talking New To the C.F. and Camaro Savior.

Salutations everyone here in the C.F. My name is justin and the proud savior of a 1991 Z28 CAMARO. baught it two days ago as a from someone going to scrap it, has no engine and floorpans are rusted in a couple spots, BUT, i am a collision and refinishing tech student at "Lincoln College of technology". and am rebuilding this diamond in the rough, as a tribute pro modified Drag car to my late uncle who watched and followed NHRA from the beginning in the 50's. Yet i am designing in show car qualities to the build so i get the best of both worlds... A: consistant drag car, B: show car/ woman magnet.

It also helps that i get even more practice rebuilding the car, since collision and refinishing is my chosen career field. that's a little about my car and plans for it. i am a car fanatic, and almost daily post threads, asking different things that i feel i need to know about, i look forward in conversating with all of you.

Default saved another third gen.

Just wanted to pass along the great news, i saved another 3rd gen. 1984 z28. matching numbers (but not for long). i will post pics of the first one soon and this one as well. im waiting for some good weather to hit it with a DA Sander and shoot it with a coat of primer. not sure but i think, im going to switch some things and get my first one complete before the second, 2nd one is a hardtop so im going to make it my dragcar, and the first one my show car. (ladies love them T-Tops). like i said in my previous post im a collision and Refinishing student, and just got a prep job at a body shop, so my build funds and time are both short currently. yet, the important thing is these babies are safe.
