Default New buyer

Yo,

Well, I've been a Mopar fan for about 20 years (wanted a Chevelle when I was 14, but my friends dad showed me some Mopars and liked the look and the sound). Took my wife to a car show a couple of years ago and she fell in love with the 1st generation Camaro. I never had a problem with them. A friend of mine had a 67 in high school and I remember digging that car back then.

Well, we might buy a 67 Camaro this weekend and I figured I would check some things out here. Please see my question in the SS forum under 1st generation.

Looking forward to learning some Camaro stuff from you guys.

Later

Welcome!

Yeah I know how you feel, I love my third gen, but after I'm done with it, I want to save up and buy a 1st gen to work on, but we gotta get my dad's 2nd gen done first....both are works in progress

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Hey, since I haven't gotten any responses in the SS thread I posted to...I'm going to ask a question here and then I'll move to one of the other sections.

I think I'm going to buy a 67 RS/SS this weekend. I've gotten a picture of the cowl tag and the coding reads out to an RS/SS with a 350. It's not an original engine, but it's still a 350 in it. I'm going to look at it this weekend, but I've been told the hideaway headlights don't work. I alread understand the 67 has electric motors for those, but how do you repair them and how much does it usually cost?

Any info appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, You will find an answer in your other post. Get a picture of the cowl tag up when you get a chance.
