Default New 78 needing advice

My son just picked up a 78 camaro base model, 305 v8. It is in shabby shape but he is gonna bring it back. Wondering if there is any parts interchange from certain years on this 2nd Gen camaro. Can body parts, and interior pieces be mixed and matched from other years?? Or is this all Year One stuff. Biggest concern at this point is the driver seat has rusted off its' tracks, and it just loose in the car. The mounting point to the floor appear to be broken ( the back section of the rail). The seat belt is also shredded. Thanks for any tips guys. Thanks in advance.

Yes pieces from other years will interchange and even piece from other Chevrolet as well. As well as swap meets. A lot depends on what you want to do with the car.Besides Year one there are other such as classic industries ..On mine besides the fiberglass pieces I used I got a set of fenders from a 1981 Z-28 ,The door panels from a 1970-3 Camaro as well as the fender .grill and tail panel emblem. I had painted 1970-3 Z-28/SS stripes with a Stencils & Stripes .A lot just depends on your imagination.Good luck to you
