the cat wont make it louder. there is just one on your car. and use periods. anyway welcome to the forum!

No, its not true. For the sound you want you will need to upgrade you exhaust system. There is a system known as 'cat-back' whis is a bit louder and you replace everything from the catalytic converter back the the rear of the car. For the sound you want though, I would replace everything. Headers back.
