HI FORUM! Name's Lew. I hope that I haven't violated any 'club' rules by having a '71 Firebird! ...(Her name is Naydean!) I just put in a '67 Chevy 396 Big Block with an 11" clutch/flywheel. I have a Borg-Warner Super T-10 trans from a '70 Vette. $$$ is kinda tight, so I got a used, weird-looking, early ' 60's 11" bellhousing from a buddy for next to nothing. Can I get a starter for this thing? It takes 3 horizontal bolts that go into the bellhousing itself. I'd send pictures, but I don't know how to work this thing good yet! ...

welcome to the forum. firebirds are strictly prohibited on this site 
id go check out the 2nd gen area for tech, most everything from camaros should translate so those guys should have some good intel for u
