Hey Everyone, I actually joined this site in 2005, and I only had 19 posts. I am not really new but I havent been on here in forever so I figured I would introduce myself and share pics of my car since I am now going to be posting on here. My name is Stephanie and I am 21 years old. I live in port charlotte florida. I own a 1997 V6Dark Shadow GrayCamaro, which I am in the process of swapping an Lt1 and a 6 speed into. It is going in with just bolt ons for now, butI have an extra LT1 block thatI will be buliding a forged 383 with and adding an advanced induction heads and cam package, with a little spray. After we put the 383 and 9 inch in the car, Iare hoping for low 11s on the motor and mid to low 10's with a little help Alot of people ask me why I am going with an Lt1 and simply a freind sold me his wrecked 97 Z at a really good price, and I think it will be really cool to have an Lt1 that will walk most Ls1's.

When I got the car it was silver, and I just recently got it painted Dark Shadow Gray:

That is a sweet color. I had an LT1, to me they feel more like a classic muscle car than the LS. The LS feels more like a modern day muscle car. Either way I am happy I stayed with the LS1. Good luck with that swap, it's gonna be a PITA.

BTW, I love that look, I think the only thing I would have done was have the mirrors and door handles painted the color of the body. But that's just a matter of personal preference. Great job so far!
